we did it tonight, though half as there were only 2 of us.

and we had no rubarb so im currently tucking into an apple and blackberry crumble *drool*

salmon en creute (sp?) worked out quite well and tasted far better than i expected, i've never really been a huge fan of salmon and this worked really really well.

We watched it, but I'd had a ****ty day and we've got a fridge full of food due to a week with no gas, so I decided not to do it. It all looked gorgeous, despite me initially not being sure about the pudding. The salmon looked gorgeous! Think I'll be doing that tomorrow

Glad you liked it all karbon

That salmon looked really nice, as did the starter. Patsy Kensit was quite amusing as well

Did the salmon en croute last night with jacket sputs and oven roast veg. Really simple, yet tasty recipe. The only things I had to buy in addition to what I normally have was the fresh dill and the pastry.

I was never a fan of salmon when I was little. I always found it a bit boring and bland. However, now I've started cooking it myself, I love it. I've found that it has to be with something else to give it more flavour though, such as stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes, anchovies, garlic & basil or rubbed with a cajun spice mix and grilled. We have it quite a lot now.
