Am I just so far out of touch here?
I always thought that no matter what if you put an index.html file in your hosting and someone typed in just the domain name, the index was what was displayed?
Is there something new out there I'm not aware of? I tried it and all I'm getting is the Index of / Parent Directory 08-Jan-2009 11:10 - cgi-bin/ 02-Jan-2009 13:57 - Apache/1.3.37 Server at

I'm guessing that you've not put the file in the right directory as I don't even see the file listed.
It's easy to disable index.html file being loaded by default. |

Yeah, the hosting auto directs to another directory, which is where the file is supposed to be. LOL
