Heads up for those with children.. Don't miss out..
Heads up for those with Children who were aged under 16 between 6th April 2001 & 5th April 2003 :
http://www.huddysworld.co.uk/Admiral/Document.pdf Apparently there were only two tax years that this benefit was available but we have already missed claiming for the first year as 5 years have passed. You then have up to 31st January this year to get your claim in for the 2nd year. Read the attachment, ring you tax office to check (unless you already know you claimed this) and fill in the form and send it off - £520 then comes your way ! http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/forms/11ctc.pdf

I worked 7 days a week at one place, 4 days a week at another place AND studied a full time education for 4 years all at the same time, the government wouldn't help me out with anything at all barring a student loan with an interest rate. Now I am unable to get work, especially during the recession where games companies are folding and not taking on, the governments answer to this is that I have to go on a 13 week course with idiots who dropped out of school to learn about stuff I learned over 10 years ago, such as Interview techniques, how to apply for jobs etc... Shocking. </rant> |
