Default iTrip?

My old FM transmitter is shot (about ten years old) and I'm going on a road trip soon. Does anyone own one? My current one isn't that powerful so I'm looking for something with a stronger signal and decent frequency adjustment.

Edit: Sorry iPod Video if it matters but I guess most have a 3.5mm cosket anyway.

Yeah, just wondering if the actual iTrip was the best out there or there are any similar better products.

Is the one I have. After looking round the net I found the Griffin ones seem to come out on top. Plus it has an actual ipod connection on it and doesn't plug into the headphone jack of the ipod. Best bet is to visit http://www.griffintechnology.com/devices/ipod and click on the model of ipod you have, it'll tell you which ones are compatible.

Looks like the consensus everywhere is that these are the best! Bought an iTrip Auto for less than £14

Anyone had any success using these abroad?
Could we hell get ours (we took two, iPods AND 2 different brands of FM transmitters) to work in europe, especially in France.

Not sure about Europe, but ours worked a treat in San Francisco and the surrounding area

We were told that the french radio stations transmit on frequencies without a decent gap between them, so our transmitter couldn't grab a suitable frequency.
