Heard about this yesterday and followed all the news from OK!, Time Out, CNN and WWTDD. It's a shame, she was impossibly nice and I fell in love with her accent in this years Top Chef.

Real shame .

Makes you wonder how some arse who wants to die, throws himself off Niagra falls and lands like he's made of pillows, then fights with those trying to rescue him. You get Amy Winehouse who pops pills and shoots heroin like it's going out of fashion and nothing happens, then you get a massively popular actress and broadway star who is a massive pusher of charities and foundations and an innocuous bump on the head results in her tragic death, happens.

Just not fair is it. It was only the other week I was thinking about how long they'd been married which is unusual for the typical celebrity world they've managed to not be a part of.

Absolutely devatsating for her family

An absolutely unbelievable freak accident - awful for Liam Neeson and their two sons.

I heard Graham Bell (Ski Sunday & High Altitude) say today that he didn't agree that adults should wear helmets while skiing and two people from The Ski Club of Great Britain have said the same - complete, utter idiots.

Wasn't she OK though at the time of the accident and went on to develop the subsequent injury that killed her or have I misunderstood?

Head injuries should always be seen to ASAP as at first you can have little/no symptoms

Agreed - that's why protective headgear is essential for so many things. People don't really take, for example, concussion seriously enough; but it can of course be very serious.

It must be terrible for them all though - to lose her because of such a freak accident
