Facebook for Blackberry

Who here has a Blackberry and is on Facebook? If thats you, install the Facebook for Blackberry app. Its actually fantastic!

After installing it I noticed that it was linking contacts to my facebook friends so that with the push of a button I could send them a facebook message as well as updating my contact details for them. As it stands at the moment I think it only grabs their company name and phone number which is a shame as it would be good if it grabbed their email addy too but it appears not to. It does keep any data you have in the contact fields, it doesn't overwrite anything.

It also adds their profile photo to the Blackberry phonebook which is quite cool.

Thats in addition to the rest of the Facebook functionality. Anyone else here using it? Anyone with a Blackberry planning to install it? I wonder what happens when you have two contacts that both have the facebook for blackberry app as facebook keeps flagging people up to me as having it or something and I wonder why.

I've got a BlackBerry Bold and I don't like the Facebook application. I've got it installed and occasionally try it out but I can't put my finger on what I don't like about it.

I don't bother using Facebook from my mobile, but when I do I use http://m.facebook.com.

i just noticed that there was a newer version of the app on App World so I've grabbed that and will give it a whirl.
