Default 360 Controller on PC

I think a mate has a wired 360 controller, if I were to persuade him to lend it to me for a while, can I just plug it in and use it on XP, or do I need drivers of some sort?

Bought GRID and TDU yesterday (£15 the pair, bargain) but they don't play quite as easily on a keyboard as NFSU2 used to, so I was thinking of trying a controller.

GRID looks pretty damn sexy mind you...

Yes, I plug my 360 wired controller into a box running Windows 7 RC and it works perfectly well with TDU, it'll be the same with XP.

Awesome. I'll ask my mate this evening when he's drunk, more likely to say yes

Run Windows update after you've plugged it in, it'll grab the latest drivers for it as well

That part might be a slight issue but we'll see

Works fine for me on Vista, that's how my arcade sticks work
