Daily Fail Strikes again
Non-stories like this and the idiotic comments that follow them make my blood BOIL! Why are they so intent on stirring up racial hatred!? Why are they allowed to do this?

It is a complete non-story you're right, not least because it doesn't define how much you can have in an "unplanned overdraft" facility on an Islamic account but it is more careful in defining the conditions for a non-Islamic current account - compare like with like or don't compare them at all. It doesn't mention that on a non-Islamic current account you get interest paid for credit balances (ok so it's worth about the sum total of SFA but that's beside the point) but you do not on Islamic accounts - the way I see it the whole thing will tend to balance out.
Although as the story does actually point out the account is theoretically open to anyone (good journalism obviously prevents them from testing this theory ) so it becomes even more of a non-story than initally thought.

The worst part is the best/worst rating sections in the comments.
