It's great until you delete conversations, then you have to remember the exact format of the persons name, even after linking them to an address book entry.

When you say push, do you mean the push settings that you find in Settings > Mail, Contacts & Calendars > Fetch new data? |

That's a good point. That setting is for Mail only and doesn't affect Ping!
The one that you need for Ping! is in Settings > Notifications |

Ah right. Yeah, I was talking about the one in the mail section. I assumed it was an overall Push On setting.
Last night the app and phone was off and messages came through. But as Mark has said, I guess the Notifications is what turns push on and off for Ping. I think I'm having general network problems today though which is why nothing is coming through.
