I really enjoyed the first movie. Downey Jr. put in a sterling performance IMHO.

I ignored everything with the lead up to the film and just watched it when it came out. I've no idea how big the hype was, but for once I bet the film lived up to it. Downey was superb and the story just flowed. Not too fast, not too slow, enough jokes without being too comical. Spot on for me.

Same. RDJ was superb. Probably the first film of his I've really wanted to watch and really enjoyed. I know he had his problems earlier in his career but, touch wood, he's over them. If Iron Man is a sign of his talent and the potential for some sequels he's onto a cracker. Got this on DVD and was staggered with the quality. I've been thinking of getting it on Blu-Ray as I think this is one of those films that just has to be seen in hi-def.

I didn't see it at the cinemas but I saw the hype, mainly from reviews on Amazon, and decided to get it. Watched it and was stunned. It was funny when and where it had to be but wasn't overly funny. So if Iron Man was superb, Iron Man 2 will definitely get my attention.
