Your game of the year: Can't think of a game released this year that I've bought...

Single player gaming experience of the year:Star Wars mainly. KOTOR, KOTOR2, Tie Fighter, X-Wing Vs Tie Fighter... Also Fallout 3 and all the DLC

Multiplayer gaming experience of the year: Mario Kart Wii and New Super Mario Brothers Wii - superb fun with 3 other people.

Biggest Letdown of the year: GTAIV - Looks average and ran like crap

Surprise of the year: Dawn of War II - but not in the good way. Didn't live up to DoW. Also GTAIV for the same reasons.

Game or gaming innovation you're most excited about for 2010: Errrr....
Can't think of anything.

Favourite game of the decade: Can't get it down to one...
KOTOR, Fallout 3, Civilization IV, Empire at War, Grand Prix Legends, Deus Ex, NOLF and NOLF2, Mafia, Vampire: Bloodlines, Company of Heroes...

Shame System Shock 2 is a 1999 game....

Just that I've been updating it with alarming regularity that it still looks and plays great.

Will try to put reasoning but I'm just not up for a big post right now...

Your game of the year: Dead Space - though technically released in 2008 I didn't get around to playing it until over a year later.

Single player gaming experience of the year: Dead Space - atmospheric, scary and clever. A slight shame the last level wore on so much with the incessant shifting of the artefact, but not enough to make a fuss over.

Multiplayer gaming experience of the year: Only briefly played COD4, Halo 3 and Left 4 Dead this year, but I'd say the latter was my favourite. Not got around to multi in L4D2 yet.

Biggest Letdown of the year: Wolfenstein - Return to Castle Wolfenstein was epic. This was a knob wart by comparison.

Surprise of the year: Red Faction: Guerilla, Dead Space and Arkham Asylum were all surprisingly good I would say, in that I had limited expectations. Enjoyed them all immensely though. And a little late to the game, The Darkness.

Game or gaming innovation you're most excited about for 2010: AvP - bring it on! Oh, and it looks like theres a Dead Space sequel on the cards. Also, Bioshock 2. If it's half the game the first one was then happy days. Here's hoping for a final Condemned instalment too.

Xbox Live Arcade game of the year: Only downloaded one - South Park Tower Defence.

Limited fun but very funny.

Favourite game of the decade: That's a big ask! Any from Deus Ex, Half Life 2, Tomb Raider Legends/Anniversary, GTA: Vice City... In fact, Thief II was released in March 2000. Has to be that. Favourite game of all time.
