Default We need to get a quieter keyboard

I keep geting moaned at because I'm typing and making too much tappity tap noise. Apparently we need to get a quieter keyboard.

No matter then that the computer is on a big hollow sideboard that amplifies the noise. No it can't be that, it MUST be my keyboard.

That is all. Where is the rolleyes smiley on this board?

(borrowed from elsewhere)

Well, at least we didn't get goatse'd by that hotlink. This time.

Actually, in my case, I once ended up on the receiving end of tubgirl. Emotionally scarred for life.

It probably is the keyboard tbh, a decent quiet keyboard is like night and day compared to a clunky clackety one, hollow desk or no.

Buy a good old metal cased IBM clicky death keyboard.

That'll learn her good.

Cherry CyMotion from Scan.

Extremely quiet to use and much better than the crap Microsoft Curve that it replaced.

Bought one for the family PC but as soon as it was delivered I ordered another for myself.

**Edit**
If you understand German then there is a video review here:
http://www.ciao.de/video_review.php?VideoObjectId=11416

The reviewer only pushes a key twice near the end of the video but you hear no noise at all.

Yup. Great keyboards. Annoying as hell to other people too.
