Kaspersky Pure
I've just started to install the usual programs onto my new Windows 7 pc and was intending to put on Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 as I already have a licence (bank with Barclays).
Kaspersky are now advertising a new produce called PURE which is a combination of KIS 2010 with a host of other features packed in. http://www.kaspersky.co.uk/pure I was wondering if anybody here had any experience of PURE? |

I haven't used it but from looking at the website it would appear that the extras in Pure over KIS are; a password manager, a file shredder, back up and encryption. All of these are free elsewhere. It's just a matter of whether you have any need for these and whether it would be beneficial to have them all bundled together. Personally, I find the Windows back-up perfectly adequate and have never really felt the need for the other facilities so it wouldn't be worthwhile for me to pay for these extras. Everybody has different needs and, I can see how having all these bundled together would be advantageous to some people.
