Anything by Panasonic, Canon, Nikon, Fuji. No bad cameras. Buy whatever feels good.

personally I wouldn't buy a Ricoh.
I had an R7, probably the best camera I've had (compact wise) but then it broke at around the 12 month mark. They couldn't repair it so sent me an R8, an upgrade supposedly. It still had a great snap focus which is what i liked about them but it too broke just short of 12 months. I've not bothered to send it back. I too could do with finding a new camera. don't buy ricoh they're not very good at that either. |

Actually as far as cameras go they make a decent camera. Ricoh GR II or III is meant to be pretty good. Designed for photographers.

but based on owning two Ricohs at their lower level and them both failing at 12 months, i'd not buy another, nor recommend. |

FX series are niiiice! Even better than the "value" FS series i bought, but i still massively rate the FS as well. I'm sure you'll be more than happy with that man Pictures
