Neither.
I don't see the point in thumbnails when the full sized images are neither massive in dimensions or file size and I dislike sites that waste so much screen estate. Full size images using more of the screen width would be my suggestion. |

Definitely the first one.
Mostly because it looks more uniform than the second. Of course, if the images were all the same height in the second then it would probably look better...
