Default Things to do in London?

Afternoon, I'm in London this weekend with the Mrs & we have to find something to do with our afternoon when we arrive on Saturday and possibly something for Sunday afternoon.

Whats on at the moment that might be worth a visit? I had suggested a trip to the Natural History Museum on Saturday, which went down well, but is there anything else?

I loved the Tower of London but then I love history.

The Science museum is also awesome. And the wheel. A trip on the wheel is fab.

I've done the tower, wheel etc before, but was so young I don't really remember the the NHM & I think Em's actually pretty set on going there after speaking to her just now, but I'll have to check out that site when its back up. Thanks.

We're coming down on the train (1st class ) and should be in to Euston at 13:04 according to the schedule, doesn't look too far away from where you'll be so that might be a good idea. (Still only ever been to one meet, that being the 2003 Alton Towers trip!!)

Where abouts are you thinking of going for lunch?

Oooo posh! We are meeting at 12.30... but if you are up for it maybe I will have a rethink...

Marie has to catch a train out of Paddington at 3pm ya see.

If lunch doesn't work then maybe me and Will can catch you after?

Yeah that wouldn't leave too long i guess, but we're not looking for a particularly lengthy lunch as we want to go & get round some attractions! I guess if you guys were still around at like 1:30 we could head down, but no worries if theres not enough time.

Wine & spirit tasting would usually be a good idea, but we're goin out in the evening for a birthday, so that could perhaps lead to more drunkness than I need - we have to make it back to somewhere like Staines where we're staying with one of Em's relatives!

The only spanner in the works (which I refuse to let beat us) is that there are more pesky protests by all the unions against all the cuts this weekend.
