I've chucked a few £ your way, MB.

The Anthony Nolan trust is very close to my heart having lost a friend to leukaemia. I'm a registered bone marrow donor and about 10 years ago came very close to donating.

I'll throw a few £ in too at some point.

Not sure I'll ever be up to 5k (knees are a bit knackered), but we'll see - if I don't keep getting setbacks I might just stand a chance. In the meantime I'll support and cheer from the sidelines.

Ooo, that's quite reasonable for a 5K. Some of them are quite expensive for what would be an everyday run for experienced runners. I think I might be away that weekend, so I'll have to check dates before committing. I might be up for fancy dress

Yep, all signed up

No need to practice....for some reason I'm just not built for running so my pace is pretty crap. We'll just plod along together and finish together

I might be a lot fitter but I doubt I'll be fast, although I think my natty new shorts might be good for wiping 5 minutes off my 5k time

plus I have Nike rain protection, this running is a serious business!
