Black Friday
So has anyone been trying to get any bargains from Black Friday?
Does anyone know of anywhere other than Amazon which is taking part in this? I have bought three things so far

It's a bit stupid doing it the week before most people get paid!
I haven't seen anything I want yet. I think Tak has though.

Got some hair clippers yesterday and interested to see what the hidden Lego box is at 6pm.
It starts day after thanks giving, hence this week. So similar to our boxing day sales which come when we are all skint. Wouldn't mind the white Denny set that is back on today, but can't afford it.

Well judging by that it should be next week as Thanksgiving is Thursday... - they should do Black Friday, then a week of sales...would make a lot more sense. At least some of us get money for Christmas in the UK!

Oops I was slightly wrong, black Friday is the Friday after thanks giving. The rest of the deals are just an extended run upto black Friday.

I do understand the concept, I'm just saying I think the timing is a bit crap, when a week later, a lot of people would be able to buy more.

It is abit of a pain doing it just before payday, thankfully I have money saved for Christmas pressure
I saw that Will, looked like a good TV as well, you would have needed to be SUPER fast though. Yesterday I got a pair of trainers for £20, also a Tom Tom for £62.99. I was ready for the Tom Tom, even though I clicked it less than 30 secs after it game up I ended up being 188 on the waitlist for it, thankfully 188 people didn't want it so I grabbed it. Also got the Just Dance 2 Wii game today at £8.97, which was good as I was going to get that for my lil sis for Christmas

I got the complete Enterprise dvd box set this morning; they did have the complete Voyager box set which would have been my first choice of the two but I'd told myself only one of them and only if its more than 50% off (Voyager was only 39% off )
There is a Fringe box set due for pricing at 7pm I think it is so I'll see how much that is but unless its 60-70% off I can't afford it. Looked at the zumba dvd kit that amazon have on there but although interested the discount isn't enough to make me part with cash |
