About 25 Films

The 25 film forum has come about following a post I saw on tumblr:

We are going to do it a bit differently though and the point is that we will have a kind of rolling film club, which will result in us having a searchable film thread, similar to the one we already have (Rate the Last Movie You Watched) but collecting all of the comments on a specific film in one thread.

How do we choose the Films
Everyone who wants to join in can suggest 2 films (initially) in the original thread and I will add them in here, in their own individual threads, with a blurb about the film and a two week date range, which just allows those who want to watch them as a film club to watch the same film at the same time. If two weeks isn't working out, we can change it later on.

Commenting
You can comment at any time on the film, in or outside the dates given, but be aware that there may well be spoilers in there if the film has been watched by a group of BD'ers already.

Rating
Rate the film from 1-5 using the 'Rate this Thread' drop down. This will give us an average for all of the films, and let anyone browsing for something good to watch see what we thought was good and what was bad.

Spoilers
Use spoiler tags where applicable, but remember that they are film discussion threads, so it is likely that something will be given away during the course of the discussion. However, no spoilers will be given in the initial post to allow people to come in, see the official synopsis (from IMDB) and the rating without giving anything away.

Timeframe
Initially, I thought this might go for a year, but if it takes off it can just carry on indefinitely. We can add new films all the time, so if you see a really fantastic movie, that you think we should all see, add it to the original thread and we'll pop it in here.

Joining In
Anyone can join in at anytime. Doesn't matter if you've been here since the start or not, get suggesting and get watching!

I'll be adding some films this weekend, so any more suggestions (I've got some from the film thread, please pop them in here - anyone been watching?
