Had enough of my current car! (Financial advice?)
More Mondeo trouble again this time I got another flat tyre and after a bit of detective work by my local Kwik Fit (don't laugh, I trust them ) it seems the alloy wasn't very well repaired last summer and is slowly letting the tyre down again.
Add to that the broken air con, brakes needing doing and the myriad of other work I've had done I'm fed up with the damn thing and want out. Sadly the real problem here is money (as always) - made some poor choices several years ago which still leaves me with some debt to pay off meaning I can't easily load up a 0% credit card with a cheap car and be done with it. To get the car to a trade in worth condition I feel that I'll at least need to repair the wheel and get a new tyre - I'm not confident enough in the cars condition to pass it on to someone else. Ideas? I have considered some sort of bank loan but I'm not sure how good a rate I'd really be able to obtain as I have nothing to secure the debt on other than a car to be purchased. It's a bit of a ramble but I don't really know what to do with the damn car anymore - I just want something reliable!

53 plate Mondeo Zetec S TDCi and probably worth 2k or less. Badly scratched on one side.
Had the thing for 3 years and every week there is something new wrong with it
