I N S A N E Bargain!!
Today, I worked out that in total, I paid £77 for my 30Gb iAudio X5, brand new and boxed with the leather case.
Which is an absolute farking bargain tee bee aitch. Almost as good as this insanity is the deal open to you, the great unwashed all singing all dancing scum of the earth. £99.99 for the unit, £7.99 for the case. Get yourself along to your local Staples and see if they have any left. If they dont, buy the display and claim a further 10% off! Its one of the best mp3 players on the market for sound quality - it absolutely knocks the socks off of my CD player!! |

Where is "here"? They are often in out-the-way places but we seem to span a lot of the country...

I got one!
Sadly though - it's broken. The rewind button has no effect. Only one left now is the display model. Simon/~Flibster [edit] Went back - got it swapped for the display model and got some money back. Now charging. [/edit]

Didn't get a case. May have to have a look at them tomorrow.
It will spend most of the time in my coat poket tbh so won't get scratched. My iRiver H10 will live in the car instead, loaded to the gills with Audiobooks. It's a very nice little player tbh. Anyway - anyone know if it charges via USB? Doesn't seem to but I only had it plugged in for a few minutes. Currently looking for a 3.5mm 90° adaptor so the cable can go straight up from the player rather than out the side.
