Would you buy these photos?
The big question here is that if you were a footy fan, and these were your grounds would you be interested in buying an A3 print for £50? I've been asked to make 12 stunning shots of Liverpool including the two clubs. Now outside the two clubs is just THE worst architecture ever. I've got to enquire about getting permission to shoot inside. If I could get inside and do some HDR's in there I'd be sorted. For now I'm going with outside as its public ground so fair game in theory.

Personally? No, I hate football with a passion
But I think my dad would, he supports the Stags (Mansfield Town) If you're a die hard fan, £50 for an A3 shot, done as well as they are, is worth it |

I don't think I'd pay as much as that for a photo of my team's ground (Celtic) but then I'm not as fanatical as some.
I would consider buying one of the monochrome shots if the banners were photoshopped out (why do people insist on marring beautiful buildings with tawdry advertising banners? ). Stan

That is the problem I have too. Taking great pictures of something I really don't like isn't exactly easy when the place is horrible. |

I do have a suggestion
I really like the fact that you have chosen the gates and the entrances to the stadium, I would think (I'm not a football fan btw) that these are almost like religious icons to the fans, as the either walk through them with pride every week or dream of doing so. Maybe you could play a little more on these? I like the style though and as you say you have made the best of some pretty poor architecture MB |

Yes I guess the more passionate you are about something the more you can get engrossed in the picture taking and also maybe think of shots that would never strike you originally. Maybe if you can take some of inside the ground that might help you get some more shots. I like a few of the entrance shots.

nice shots, personally i wouldn't buy the toffie ones the LFC one is very nice. The area around Anfield isn't too bad to shoot, but yes Goodison is rather manky , drive past every day.
EDIT: another suggestion would be if you could get a ticket and go on match day, not sure what it's like inside Goodison but pictures of the Kop with the banners would be awesome.
