Torchwood isn't all sci-fi. The one about the village wasn't.

Think I'm going to have to get DVDs. I've missed at least two decent episodes now.

Dunno what it is then. I think the one about the village was meant to be scifi. Some alien creature killing people but with a twist. Playing on the audience.

The twist was the most shocking part of it all.

A rather good review of Torchwood's narrative flaws.

I didn't need to click that link to know the TV show is flawed. So is Dr. Who, Star Trek, B5, BSG, and every other sci-fi series I can think of. The flaws may manifest in different ways, but they're all flawed. Sorry, but if you don't like it, press the channel up/down button and watch something else. No-one is going to come around to your house and order you to watch Torchwood on pain of death.

I've watched every episode and it has got better. I'm not bashing it for the sake of it. I'm a very critical person and I do like to talk about a show I'm interested in, both its good and bad points. I just thought that was a well wrote article. I enjoyed this weeks and last weeks. I thought they were the best so far.

Xmas special in half hour - think I'm gonna have to tape it as we're meant to be going around a friends house for the evening
