Default SVP

Thought people might be interested in this company. I found out about it from a friend of mine, and I've just ordered one of these 2Gb ones for myself, and a 1Gb one for a friends birthday prezzie.

And these rechargeables have got a 10/10 customer rating, several using them in wireless X-box controllers.

Enjoy

Will likely be ordering those batteries, thanks TF

On the subject, can anyone recommend a USB battery charger? There are a few on ebay, but not sure if they're any good!

The used to be called blankdiscshop.co.uk but changed their name. For blank dvd's etc they are the cheapest place I have found on the net.

I doubt your going to get much umph out of a USB charger, I'd definately go with a decent mains one.

As to the batteries they are good value but the ~£4 postage puts me off slightly especially as I can get the memory sticks from DVD.co.uk with free shipping. I do use a lot of AAs and am trying to go over to them completely rather than use Alkaline one shot ones but I'm loath to pay the postage

That's how I found out about them, a friend will only use DVDs with the Taiyo Yuden dyes and SVP actually say what is used in each type of disc that they sell.
Ordered Monday afternoon, postman brought it today (Wed) with the cheapest £1.99 delivery.

Bloody hell it's tiny!!

That's the 2Gb one, the 1Gb one is white

Same, I bought ALL my DVD-R/RW/CD-RW from them, and the drives too. I usually buy 100 at a time, and every couple of months they have a 99p delivery weekend which is great as they ship via courier. Makes things much cheaper.

They also have good customer service and actually answer their emails. www.thedvdforums.com has a bargain page and a sponsor of that site, it's where i found out about SVP and they have a "Rep" or Owner on the supplier's forum/Bargains Forum section there to answer questions and problems.

They're superb, been using them for years. All their media has advinfo data listed on the web site so you can see what you're getting.

Last time I ordered, the product was out of stock. They mailed me at about half past eight on the Saturday evening to tell me, I replied an hour later requesting a different item and got an email at half ten to tell me it had been picked and was being despatched.

Sounds like it's a guy in a shed. But it works for me.
