Nice one, sounds like it's all coming together
As for pricing, how about "special introductory price" at £1.50, and if they sell stupidly quickly, up it to £2, if not, keep them at the £1.50 and ditch the introductory price tag? |

Pheebs, if the delivery note states how many there are, then the invocie shouldn't be for more. Hopefully you have some freebies!!
Don't forget that you have to include your overheads (stall costs etc) in the price of your cards, as that's your only income. So when you say they are marked up by 3 times, is that just to cost of the card or have you accounted for the stall rent and other things? That's why cards are generally more expensive as they don't just absorb the cost of their raw materials, they have to absorb overheads too.

I'd pay for AND wear a t-shirt designed by Pheebles as advertising *nods*
Keeping everything well and truly crossed for the car boot and the other companies who are looking at your cards

Yup, I have covered overheads and eeeeeevvvvvvvvvvverything!
*has been bartering to get everything SUPERB quality but uber cheap!* Special starter offer sounds goooooooood! I like the idea nutcase Tshirt wise... it's still really expensive to have a full colour printed tshirt - unless I buy bulk! Or... unless people can find a webby that prints onto tshirt full colours cheaply! I cannot seem to find them where they're under a tenner Booooooo! I'm convinced they mucked up on producing the cards - checked emails and it specifically says 20 designs, 15 of each - 300 in total! *waits patiently car envelopes and cello bags!* Yay! |

Printed Tee's has just been discussed amongst another group I'm a member of and the following three came up:
http://www.tshirtstudio.com/ http://www.teeshirtnation.com/index.asp http://www.logoprintuk.com/site/ You should be able to get quotes off those three. The first two are ones folks have used before, the third one is a customer of one of the guys in the group (his company provide their hosting and stuff)

You'd have to get a litho print done as it's full colour, can't remember the costs but you would need to do at least 50 of each design ( I think... been a while ! ) they can also source the t-shirts, apply the print and bag/tag for you. They do all of the Paul Smith t-shirts... You can also add glitter into the print \o/ http://www.targettransfers.com/custom.htm |

See now, I don't think it's worth it then. I don't know what designs would sell, nor what sizes and I have very little money now (I have spent up to my allowance on AKOF now... I want to start bringing some back in before I purchase bulk loads of goods I could end up being stuck with!)
I've always liked the idea of tshirts, as well as mugs, notebooks, badges, stickers etc... but I can't afford that risk. I've taken a big enough one to get to where I am today In the future I will deffo look into those sites properly - so thank you kindly for digging them out For now though, I will just continue plugging my cards! |
