I'd rather go with one of the more reputable companies and I can't stand Tesco
I wonder if Orange has improved in my area over the past years as I might move back to them if the package is competitive.

When I called their 'upgrades team' regarding my new contract (currently just expired from my 18month) they immediately said that all iphone tarrifs are completely non-negotiable. This was before I had even raised the point of competativity and the lady was so rude I'm still looking

I'm happy with my iphone contract on o2, I spend the same amount as I used to for more minutes/texts/internet so it's fine really. Always keen to weigh up options though.

Well I've decided I'm going to go for it but am going to wait until late January for two reasons. Firstly it's coming out on Vodafone which may well be an option. Secondly I've heard a rumour that O2 will be "revising" its pricing. I realise this is just hearsay but, with three networks competing and the Christmas rush period over, it wouldn't surprise me if we get a bit of decent competition at last. Even a fiver off each month is worth having!
Incidentally, what's the deal with insurance? Never really had a phone worth enough to worry about this but an iPhone would be different. What options have people here gone for in this regard?
