Actually........now we're not
 RSPCA just called back to say the vet's checked him and decided he can't go home yet due to a few minor things. So it won't be till Monday or Tuesday at the earliest  And currently they're now saying 'hopefully he'll be with you for Christmas' rather than definitely :/Meh

Better safe than sorry though. Best the vet sorts any problem now. Shame they had to get your hopes up before dashing them.

Yeah definitely better safe than sorry, just annoying to have your hopes built up. Was all fine with just visiting him this afternoon until they called this morning to say we could take him home!
Turns out someone had written on his report that he'd seen a vet today when he hadn't :/

We can take Charlie home tomorrow
\o/He's still a little bit poorly and needs to be fed on a special diet and has to go back to the vet's next week, but we can take him home Picking him up tomorrow afternoon
