Surely it would be best for the kids to be left in the custody of someone responsible and who is interested in their upbringing.
I don't read/follow/know anything about either the father or her fiance (the whole "celebrity" thing bores the carp out of me), but I do know that sometimes just because someone is a biological parent, doesn't mean they are the best person for the job.

Well the husband to be, Tweed, was sent down for a very violent assault and I guess must have only been released quite recently so he's hardly a great role model for the children.

Anyone know where the law stands on this, does the husband or father have legal custody when she dies or can she state who she wants to look after them in her will?

Well common sense says to me that their biological father would automatically be given custody. I don't know much about their daily life so I cannot comment whether Tweed has been living with Jade for any length of time and as such has been a part of the childrens daily lives for a long period of time though.

Stability for the children is very important in cases like these.

To add to my previous post, here's hoping common sense wins.

Piers morgan showed a similar opinion of Jade to mine on Steve Wrights Radio 2 show today.....and as he's met her many times his POV is more informed than mine. It's at 1:48:55 on the iPlayer if you're interested.

Can you give a brief summary for those of us who are too lazy to go hunting?

I think the reason that a lot of people dislike her is that they object to what she represents (getting famous for showing her lack of intelligence on TV) rather than who she is.

I really dislike what she represents but at the same time it would be very hypocritical of me to critise her for making a living (and a good one at that) the only way she know how.

I also wonder how many people dislike her because of green eyed monster syndrome?

I can't disagree with any of your post, tbh mate.

Just click on this link, then click on "Thursday" on the right hand side of the page. When the small iPlayer window opens simply drag the slider at the bottom from the left to the right until the timecode hits approx 1:48:50.

I couldn't agree more, Jade has always talked on telly/interviews about how she always wants her family to be close and that includes getting on with Jeff like close friends (boys Dad) for the sake of the boys and for the boys to have a good relationship with their Dad so I'm sure like I said that Jeff will get custody.
I would be very shocked if that tweed bloke got them just because he is marrying her.
