They are full retail euro copies. The only thing MS say is to be 'eligible for the offer' you need XP or Vista but I think we've generally concluded that's just lazy copy pasting from the US offer pages where they only got the Upgrade packages.

Bostin, just thought I'd better double check.

1xPro & 2xHE from Play and same from Amazon for backup. Will probs end up flogging the spare copies to friends at cost but have been screwed by Play in the past on pre-orders.

Just pre ordered from amazon, nearly ordered two (laptop and pc) will ponder the second for a while but thats a stonking intro price...

I've succumbed and ordered a Home Edition from Amazon. This may be my first proper OS for a while

More HP and Pro currently available @ eBuyer.

Edit - Now have 2x Pro and 3x HP - all eBuyer. All that lot and it's still under £300.
