An email went out asking if anyone would like to take on the responsibility of organising the Christmas party and if there were any suggestions or preferences of where to go. No reponses received. So one girl offers to organise it (even though she isn't able to go herself). She sends out an email with 3 options. Again very little response so she just goes ahead and organises what she thinks is best (as it goes a very nice place).

Someone in the department then decides to organise an 'alternative' Christmas party because they don't want to go to that one (and only invites half the department). How bloody rude is that! on both counts.

Hate hate hate. Often reply with "SUBJECT: <something relevant>" in there.
Almost as bad is someone using the subject "Germany xxxxx" when talking about Sweden zzzzz or something.

Eek. I'm a bugger for forgetting the subject!

Shocking! How rude! Was she invited?

The girl who organised the original party didn't get an invite to the alternative one and the woman who is organising the alternative one got invited to the original one, as was everyone. I couldn't believe she (the alternative party organiser) did it.

I bought a pack of absorbent lint free cloths. They're great, I use them a lot.

I just noticed today on the outside of the pack that they measure 32x30cm.

Why aren't they square? It annoys me that they're not square. It's totally irrational that it should annoy me, I've been using them for years and I've never noticed that they're not square. In fact, I'd have sworn that they were square.

WHY AREN'T THEY SQUARE??
