Shaolin Soccer
6.5/10 With a sense of humour very similar to "Kung Fu Hustle" and similar levels of CGI usage for pranks, it's a reasonably amusing ride. However it badly lacks the cohesion that Kung Fu Hustle possessed and left me thinking "huh?" occasionally. Bunch of Shaolin monks decide to form a soccer team to gain fame and riches after failing to make a start on life outside of the monastery. All that stands between them and $1m is Team Evil. If you enjoyed Kung Fu Hustle you'll probably enjoy this film. It wasn't a waste of time, had numerous laugh out loud moments... I just can't quite see myself rushing to watch this again at all (unlike KFH)

Me n Jingo Beee went to see Up in 3D
IT WAS AWESOME. Plus we stole the 3D glasses cuz they were sooo cool! Both of our eyes weed a bit during the film, but it is so so good! Def worth a watch! Best Disney film to come out for ages!

I get the impression that some people don't think my SAW VI review is sincere

The French Connection
Yet another classic that I'd never seen. Gene Hackman with hair! Who would'a thunked it! Great chase scene though - Villain in train above the road, hero in car chasing on the road. Great film 8/10

Moon
This is quite a special little film which breaks a lot of new ground in sci fi, don't expect a sci-fi blockbuster but expect to be charmed and confused. 8/10 MB |

Magnolia
3 hours! Thats how much of my life I'm not getting back! I can't even say that it was pretentious w@nk... It was just dull. I found myself wanting to skip entire chapters just to get it over with. Performance wise, Julianne Moore and Philip Seymour Hoffman rocked it for me - such a shame about the rest of the film. Oh and a rain of frogs? Really? Run out of ideas and just decide to open the bible at a random page? 1.5/10
