nzbmatrix looks good, i've actually not looked around at all since i settled with newzbin because its service has been so good. $7.50 lifetime VIP access must be worth it though, i've spent more than that with newzbin anyway!

The only problem now is, you'll start hankering after a faster connection

Thought I'd get around to this as I've been meaning to for a while.
I have a Newzbin account I got a while ago but never got around to using. I've installed Grabit, now all I need (I think) is a news server. I've been looking at Newsdemon (since they accept Maestro and/or Paypal) and was thinking about the 30Gb/month option without SSL (third from the bottom) using the in-month renewal option if required. I doubt I'll use more than that in a typical month and this seems like a reasonable figure. Two of their selling points seem to be 20 connections and 110 day retention - are these good or are they fairly standard? Does this look like a reasonable deal to you Usenet gurus? I'm in no hurry to sign up as I don't get home for 3 weeks so won't be able to use it until then anyway. Any advice? Have I chosen a reasonable combination of services? Am I missing anything?

NEWSHOSTING!!!!!!!!!
I cannot put over how good they are, they max out my 20mb connection with 8 connections, they have good retention and I pay ~£8 a month and get unlimited downloads MB |

Newshosting are good but don't take Debit card do they MB? I used to be with Newsdeamon because they took any type of payment. I now use Easynews out of lazyiness stemming from Uni...
Newsdeamon are run on the newshosting servers i think (they're a reseller either way) so you basically get the same quality, and i never had any problems i haven't had with other providers, very quick to respond to any problems that do arise. |

Newshosting don't do debit card/Paypal, so I'll have to stick with Newsdemon.
I notice with Newsdemon that when you sign up, you get Newsrover for free - anybody used this? Would it be any better or worse than Grabit?
