Tethering via USB is a bit hit and miss and may break. Doesn't work over wi-fi. No solution for Pay&Go (yet).

That last point would be the problem for me. I don't think I'd want to go contract. I'm sure it'll be solved (assuming O2/Apple don't fight back).

O2 have already announced that they can detect people who are tethering when they shouldn't and that they will be charged and/or disconnected as it breaks the T&Cs. AT&T have said the same.

Holy Moly, didn't know so many people were moving over

I don't think I'll risk the tethering, I did that with my K850i and o2 sent me emails and phoned me up saying "you're tethering without a package, stop it, or we'll charge you for every MB you've used at the full rate"
