Having reminded my Mum what date it is tomorrow, she duly went out and bought us kids all advent calendars with chocolate in, like the good little parental she is! Om nom nom!

Our Christmas meal at work is booked for the 21st, and we then get paid to go sit in the pub for the afternoon! Mustnt grumble.

Hmmmm, time to gather together my mincemeat ingredients I think. Need to nick another kilner jar off Mum and then I'll be making Nigella's suet free recipe (not because I have anything against suet, I just tried this recipe and it was fab). It's dead fruity. Yum!!

Will be making my Eccles Mince Pies as usual because Leon & I both prefer them, plus he's already had a request from work that I make them again
