It has an impact, but nothing overly major in the scale of things. There are a few ways to get past him which don't involve killing him though.

Did you get the bobblehead before you left?

Good point, forgot about the 2 different games. I think, even as a kid I completed it in something like 4-5 hours on my first go and that disappointed me and I remember it in a negative light for that reason.

I liked Code Veronica because I really enjoyed both the characters and FMV. .

What I want is a full remake of all the Resident Evil games (bar 5) in full, awesome HD glory for the next-generation of consoles in 2 years time. That would be awesome.

Resi 4 is the best in the series by some way IMO, though I haven't played Resi 3. Resi 1 was simply awesome, I remember completing that on the Sega Saturn and loving virtually every minute of it.

Yep, that's where it hit me too. Caused me a lot of cursing at LAN (where I first played Psymonkees copy).

Nope.. go on .. what is this?

I'm thinking of starting again though.. just treat the opening as a taster.

You can return to Vault 101 later in the game. This will be your second and final chance to collect the bobblehead in the vault. So you don't have to start again.

Don't worry about collecting everything on your first playthrough Huddy Just play the game and enjoy it, no point getting bogged down in the little things!

Speaking of Resident Evil games. I've go Resident Evil Archives for the Wii being delivered tomorrow. Dear God, i better hoover the dust off the Wii

As for Pure, i'm done with it already i reckon. Looks gorgeous but so difficult so soon. Doesn't bode well for later in the game!
