I'm on level 2 of the first chapter and already I'm getting the old frustrations from the first game where you have to keep restarting from the same checkpoint over and over. I'm sure it'll get better but having to do it at the start of the game is just annoying.

Bloody Hell it's good!

I never did Gears 1 coop; (nobody loves me) but I'm really interested in running through this with someone at some point!
I started to, then you left for food like a wuss and never returned.

Yup, arrived at some point today, had to go into school after everyone left to pick it up

Christ, can't believe I'm giving up at the start of level 2 on normal difficulty, having completed the first game on Insane. Just had about ten attempts at this ridiculous mortar bit and can't be arsed sitting through the 90 seconds of scripted stuff yet again before the action starts. Disappointing. Will try again tomorrow and go back to Fallout 3 for now.

I'm completely stuck.

Playing on Hardcore, everything fine until the first vehicle section; it's right at the very start of the damn game.

I just can't kill the very first reaver on the left with the chain gun. It always over heats and I always die. Tried 15 times now, just can't figure it out.

Not the way to leave first impressions.

This is exactly the bit I'm on. So frustrated now.

Part of a review I read did mention that Hardcore and Insane are much harder than the same level in the previous game. Maybe Leo and I should start on Normal before going through Hardcore

Exact same bit I quit on. I'm emptying clips into it but there's not enough time to get it; presumably you have to get the rider or something.

Can't see first time players liking this one bit after the gentle intro.
