funny you should say that, just saw a poll on the website and currently people are saying they'd be playing 25% SP and 75% MP I'd have to say I'll be buying it mainly for the multiplayer.
We always used to talk when playing Gears and it made the team games so much more fun and it's the same for this people just need to communicate. It's a shame you left when you did as we'd have needed you in the next couple of games, we lost it by 1 kill with 1.04 seconds to go

Have just seen a screenshot from I think it was a PC which shows what some of the classified perks are and they are rather cool Can't wait for the full game.

The demo I remember watching did make the SP game look good. I think you were in Russia somewhere with a SAS sniper and that looked sweet.

I finished Halo 3 last night on normal. 2 nights of gameplay on normal. I hear its a whole different game on heroic as the enemy has sniper rifles instead of short range guns. So you have to think more. One feature I do love is the theater. Its recorded my entire game. Right from the first level. I can go back into each level and watch myself play it. Its very cool. You can then create a screenshot from any moment in your game. Brilliant! I read on another forum that while GoW is technically a better looking game, Halo 3 is the nicer looking game. GoW has huge amounts of detail, but its basically small areas of brown. Halo 3 has huge expansive areas full of colour and visual splendor. Often I've stopped just to look around and take it all in. There were battles where I'd sit and watch it go down. Sure I should have been helping out but wow. Pretty much every vehicle from the Halo series all fighting in huge battles. Often I'd go running head first into battles without a care. I'm the Master Chief. Its what I do *splat* Ok, well best outa 3? Really enjoyed the game. Charging into battle on the Warthog, Halo theme from the first trailer playing in the background, huge vistas, AI helping out... awesome. Nun nun n'ahhhh, nun nun n'ahhhhh. Shame the OST isn't out till November 20th or so.
I had a quick go on multiplayer. Matchmaking worked well. I won The bubble shield is great fun. I swear someone jumped at me, I deployed it and he bounced off. I'm still not sure if I can shoot out of the bubble or not. Its a fantastic game. Can't believe there aren't more people here playing it. But then Halo 1 was what made me buy the Xbox to start with. I bought a 5.1 system just for Halo 2. I'm glad I got HD just in time for Halo 3. I love the little guys in it. "He's here! Run away!"

You can't shoot out of the bubble sadly.
Heroic is ok, did the first level on it...legendary is a whole new type of gravy. Barely any basic units on the first level, brutes can only really be hurt by plasma weapons, it's nuts. Took me over an hour for the first level...only died 4 times though. I'm not looking forward to doing level 8

Yeah I heard about Legendary. The brutes armour is almost impenetrable. Lvl8 would be a nightmare. It was a challenge on normal and there were times when I nearly gave up.
