Broken Arrow
Starring
6/10 It's cheesy mindless fun, John Travolta is a very hammy baddy to Christian Slater's straight man hero. Nothing deep or meaningful here but a fun way to spend 100 minutes. Banlieue 13: Ultimatum Starring
6/10 It's not bad but nowhere near as good as the original, there seems less in the way of stunts (although a few bigger ones perhaps) and it just doesn't quite hang together as well. I did however smile at how blatant some of the messages/digs were in the film. If you liked the first then there's a good chance you'll enjoy this but it doesn't feature Dany Verissimo this time and that's a major disappointment.

Inception
Just got around to watching this and thought it was simply awesome. It's one of those films that seems to suck you in and the ending, well, just great. I'm still sat here taking it all in, thinking about what happened and how it finished. Film of the year for me. 9/10

My brain is fine and I followed the story through without a problem. But that final scene just left me hanging, just the way it should. I've not seen a film like that for quite a while and it was very satisfying for me.

I followed it through, it just messed with my head. I think they left it that way for a sequel.

Just watched the first film, District B13 on Saturday.
Good fun action film. Doesn't take itself too seriously, but at the same time isn't playing anything for laughs. Watched it in French but with English subtitles (my French isn't up to scratch.. could have figured out enough to understand what was going on, but wouldn't have enjoyed it) Well worth the watch if you haven't seen it yet.

It is a pretty good film though, it packs a fair bit into quite a short running time.

I was watching it streaming from Netflix, so I didn't get a choice how it was presented

Has anyone seen The Aristocrats? Not to be confused with the Disney film of a similar name
It was crap!!! Maybe its because I don't 'get' that type of crass humour. I watched the first 15mins then started doing my chores while it was on in the background, so I didn't waste my time. The only 'good' one was the card trick one. Rubbish. -billion/10 BB x |
