I actually had to stop myself going out to buy an Elite today. I reasoned that i'd just flog the refurb MS send me but me being me, i wouldn't. I also just seen the Elite is about to drop $100 in the U.S. So i'd expect a drop here soon

Just the arcade, reflecting currency gayness. With the Pro being dropped, they couldn't leave the Elite more expensive, or even on parity with the PS3, though I expect a drop was planned anyway (the margins on the Elite were a lot higher after all).

TrialsHD (360) - Loving it, managed all the tracks bar 3 on extreme - which are just a bloody nightmare! All achievements bar 2 now also

Playing gears of war also as I only purchased a 360 several months ago and heard such good things : enjoyable game thus far, interesting and different views and generally a good, entertaining 'no-brainer' which cheesey cut scenes & excessively large guns - Win!

I've also got Fable 2, fallout 3 and mass effect to trawl through when I'm in the mood for long sit down gaming sessions

The damn arcade appeals to me so; quick action, simple and compelling games are a weakness

I'm going through RE5 at the moment, played the first couple on the old PS a long long long time OK, and I never really botherd with it until now, picked it up 2nd hand for about £15.

Going to go back to Ghostbusters after I've done and try and pick up some on-line achievements

It's bloody crappy that you can't rent games in Japan

something to do with copyright laws or something over here!!!!!

Just finished Fable 2. Tbh it's just more of the same, average combat, average graphics, average level design, average storyline. It's technically the most average game i've ever played yet this one feels like more than the sum of its parts, there's something special about it i can't place my finger on. When i say that i'm not saying it's a great game, far from it, it's just good, but for what reasons i just don't know.

Oh and, after all the hype Peter made about that bloody dog i was left incredibly underwhelmed. It's just an AI partner with poor path-finding and animations that occasionally attacks people and finds you treasure.

I'm sure Peter Molyneux will have some major hype factor for Fable 3 too. I gave up listening to guy years ago. He gets carried away with his visions for whatever game he's working on. You can't knock his passion for gaming though.

On topic, i have naff all to play. Not sent my 360 away yet and i have nothing worth playing on PS3. I might buy Batman this week though.
