Only had a quick spin on PGR4 but wasn't impressed really. I think it's still too arcade-like for me, but will give it a better go soon to see if I can grow to like it.

Thanks to my birthday, I've managed to acquire £90 of spending money as well as plan to trade in Shadowrun, Just Cause, Crackdown and Tomb Raider.
I'm not sure if I want to spend it all on games because even for me, that's a bit OTT However, what would people recommend? Couple of things: I'm putting back £20 towards Eternal Sonata which comes out on my payday, and I don't really have that much of an interest in Halo 3 or The Orange Box tbh......well I do but I don't want to pay full price for them. I'm not sure about PGR4 either.

Keep hold of the money till next month then. There's more than enough coming out in November that you may wish you kept some monies aside for it

The problem there is I know it'll end up going towards paying off a bill or my car insurance
I'll end up guilting myself into sticking it towards a bill.

It's a bit hard to hide money from your own guilty conscience And I really am crap (or good depending on your point of view) at ending up spending birthday money on bills
Mind you, I have managed to think of 2 games I've been meaning to get at some point Rainbow Six:Vegas and The Darkness. I'm quite happy to stockpile games atm, they'll last me till Christmas then

If you played COD4 a fair bit, then don't bother with Rainbox 6. It just felt really bad after spending a fair amount of time with COD.
I still recommend Skate. It's a lot harder than Tony Hawk because it takes proper skill to do even the simplest of tricks, but with a bit of practise you can do some great stuff. Take a look at these two I made earlier http://skate.share.ea.com/profiles/3...ts/366578.aspx http://skate.share.ea.com/profiles/3...ts/366579.aspx Edit: Everyone please rate my videos if you can. I need 20 votes to get an achievement
