It's away, it's away. UPS picked it up today. I was listening to an old Giantbomb podcast last night on my night shift and they were talking about Gears of War 2. Got me wanting to play it again. Then it dawned on me, 360 games don't work on PS3

Been away for a bit so I've been playing:
Professor Layton and the Curious Village which I'm really enjoying and Zelda Phantom Hourglass which I've only just scratched the surface of but is a terrific little game. On the 360 I've got back into Tales of Vesperia; call it a second wind. I've got a boat and it's opened up. I was feeling a tad bored with it but I really am feeling the pull again; can happen quite easy with a rpg. Rock Band 2 ~ came back to find my replacement guitar and I'm right back into it. The note charts are so much better than GH: WT but I'm still not a big fan of flat notes over circles. Also still plodding through 'Splosion Man which I love and hate in equal measure. It's an exercise in frustration at times but I keep coming back... on 2-14 Really want to get the new Mass Effect DLC but sold the game a long time ago :/ Might see if I can pick it up cheap. I also see Haly's GS has shot up! Blimey not much air between us again now... and all those points in Fallout 3 PC? .. hehe did the old type codes for points scam I heard the Giant Bomb guys talk about? You dirty ol' score .... |

Funnily enough, no I didn't Well except for one which is whatever the last achievement was for me as it glitched on me. Whole thing looks a mess thanks to Games for Windows Live messing me about and forcing me to play offline
Broken foot + boredom = scorewhoring simply put I've been busy with Tales of Vesperia too, it is a tad simplistic but I do enjoy it. I'm at roughly the same stage as you Abooie.

I like Tales but it's not as 'good' as I was expecting with all the superlatives thrown at it on the gaf etc. I'm not overly taken with the combat but the story, characters (except Karol) and aesthetic is driving me foward. Better than Eternal Sonata/Enchanted Arms, worse than Blue Dragon/Lost Odyssey and about on par with Last Remnant atm. |

I was very, very bored. Didn't expect to keep going with it but figured I might as well as I didn't have much else on. Finally got the Super Human Behemoth achievement too which I've not got on the 360 so I'll have to go back to that sometime when I play Mothership Zeta
Think you've got it in one with Tales (except I liked Eternal Sonata ), it's just lacking that certain something that makes it great.

Is there any way of linking game achievements on the pc ie. fallout 3 on steam with your xbox 360 account?

Yup Just log onto your Xbox 360 account via the Games for Windows Live stuff that Steam provides you with
Just press home when you're on Fallout 3 and it should come up. Hopefully you'll have less bugs than me though! I can see why PC gamers don't like it now.

Interesting, I shall have a look; is L4D counted as one of these too? I have tonnes of achievements for it on PC

Nope afraid not. Only ones I know of off the top of my head are Fallout 3, Universe at War and Shadowrun.
Unfortunately iirc it's not retroactive so if you already have the Fallout 3 achievements without having logged into your Live account, you'll have to get them all over again.
