Stan did an excellent review of Penderyn at one of the meets, I'm sure he'll be happy to share it

I also highly recommend trying the only Welsh single malt, Penderyn. Rather nice for a "foreign" whisky!
I quite liked Penderyn but Stan give it a typically Stan like single word review and it wasn't 'Fantastic!'

Maybe the 15yo? IMO, it's the best of the Balvenie bunch - one of my favouritest whiskies.

I seem to be the only person who doesn't like the stuff. Maybe I was having an off night or something when I tried it - I'll need to try it again some time to make sure.

I can only get the 12 year old out here, which is still great, but still. I wonder if the liquor store will take requests. A bottle of the 12 year old double wood sets me back $60. I imagine the 15yo would be a might more expensive if ordered in.

$60 is pretty good considering it's imported - a bottle of doublewood will cost you about £30 over here. The 15yo single cask is about £40 so you'd probably be looking at $80 - maybe a bit more for a special request.

Evidence will be required, preferably in person.
