Now you're talking! I forget exactly which one I had (though I do have a picture of the bottle somewhere) and it was probably the best whisky I've had to date. I must get myself another one.

I can only get the 12 year old out here, which is still great, but still. I wonder if the liquor store will take requests. A bottle of the 12 year old double wood sets me back $60. I imagine the 15yo would be a might more expensive if ordered in.

$60 is pretty good considering it's imported - a bottle of doublewood will cost you about £30 over here. The 15yo single cask is about £40 so you'd probably be looking at $80 - maybe a bit more for a special request.
