Yeh it is. Sainsburys price that was. We were doing a big shop as it was and yeh... an extra fiver I just couldn't do it!
We used to grab a load from California when we went over there to visit a relative - or she'd bring some over here but we haven't seen her for a couple of years!! I may have a wonder down to lidl at some point. Maybe they'll have some for cheaper... |

The problem with maple syrup is that the cheap stuff is synthetic crap that tastes awful so it's a false economy buying it. That said, the expensive stuff is effing expensive but I adore it so I'll occasionally treat myself.
I'll most likely have pancakes tomorrow, I normally do on Shrove Tuesday. |

I'm going to sound like a right misery guts but I dont think i'll bother doing any tomorrow. When you live on your own theres not really any point cos things like that are better shared with someone.
That said, pancakes are yummy! |
