I've never really used the radio but it tends to just get a song stuck in my head for the rest of the day. Once I accidently left a Gza album in my CD player and it started off with one of those freaky martial arts movie clips, that really freaked me out.

I used to have real problems waking up - mainly due to very long days and stress meaning was sleep was both poor and minimal.
I resorted to using a PC alarm- It makes THE worlds most irritating, random, ever changing pitch and general ear-bummingly mean noise! The icing on the cake, what made it rather effective, was that one would have to solve 5 complex mathmatical questions followed by the input of a long string of random numbers/characters to turn it off! Any other alarms didn't tend to wake me; repeating buzz/beep noises I could get used to the rythmn and fall back asleep, radio I'd sleep through, even placing the alarm on the opposite side of the room wouldn't resolve it as I'd subconciously grab it, turn it off and go back to sleep!

If I set an alarm, I'll usually either wake up before it or sleep right through it. In either case, the alarm doesn't really do its job, so I tend not to bother. |

I rarely hear much more than half a word then Picky turns it off! The only routine thing I have at waking up is forcing my eyes to adjust for a milli second so I can see (briefly) a glimpse of Pickys bum whilst he's putting his boxers
That's the best way to wake up IMO |

Hahaha! No! But he needs to change into new boxers in the morning though doesn't he! I therefore get to see the moon before I get to see the sun in the morning

I'm definitely the same, that first song as you wake is always the best.
