1. Big Wedding/Small wedding!?
Medium sized wedding which would probably turn into a big wedding as I wouldn't want to miss anyone out! Big reception too. 2. Where/how would you be wed? Church/civil etc? Civil I think. That just means not by a minister right? Would like to get married outside near the sea or in the Royal Botanics or something. Would like wedding at night, on a gazebo with fairly lights. 3. Why the above? I feel guilty when I'm at religious things as I really don't believe. It would be incredibly hipocritical for me to get married in a church. 4. Traditional Wedding March Choon when walking the aisle? I think so but maybe played on guitar or something to make it slightly different. 5. What transport would you have?! Probably my dad's Merc to keep the costs down. And to keep the tradition going in my family! 6. Reception Venue... your ideal location? Maybe in a hotel or if it's a nice day in the Botanics with the wedding. 7. What kind of fud? Buffet, again to save on money. Plus, I love the triangle sandwiches! 8. Decorations/themes/colours? Purple would be involved. Balloons and bubbles for the kids. 9. Dress code? Not too fussed. If people are in proper photos then guys in kilts and girls in dresses. For just reception it doesn't matter. 10. For Ladies: Your traditional dress or something more funky? I saw a fantastic dress on tv. It was purple silk with black lace over the top of it and a slit all the way up to the thigh and little shorts underneath! It's just me! 11. Bridesmaid style dresses? Not sure. I'd pick shoes first then build around that! 12. Groom attire? Kilt. Iain looks nice in a kilt! 13. DJ/Band? Dj probably. But I'd have a complete list of songs and all of them would have to be played. 14. First song? Aerosmith - Don't wanna miss a thing or Bryan Adams - Everything I do. 15. Flowers? Purple and white roses if you can even get them! 16. Your Gift List would include...? Not sure. We have most stuff. Would quite like a new bed though. 17. Any added extras at reception(fireworks etc)? The photoframe thing that people sign. Instead of a guestbook. 18. Cakey cake (fruity/sponge/chocolate/decorations)? Sponge with the jam and cream with loads of thick icing on top! 19. Honeymoon... where to?! Hawaii or Thailand. I've obviously had WAY too much time to think about this! |

The below is what I had last year;
1. Big Wedding/Small wedding!? Not really sure what number class as small-large but had 80 people for food and another 40 in the evening. 2. Where/how would you be wed? Church/civil etc? In a church as we found a really nice one and both sides of the family appreciated it even though the religious side wasn't important to us. 4. Traditional Wedding March Choon when walking the aisle? Yup 5. What transport would you have?! Horse drawn carriage to bring the bride and other ladies down and the same to take us to the reception. 6. Reception Venue... your ideal location? Ballroom of a very nice local hotel. 7. What kind of fud? 3 courses. Soup, full Yorkshire roast dinner, crumble and custard. (Need a nom smiley) 8. Decorations/themes/colours? Flowers and bows on the aisles of the church, plus other flowers in the church, colours were teal and ivory. 9. Dress code? Nothing explicit but you expect people to dress smartly really. 12. Groom attire? I had full tophat and tails, I would have had a pimp cane too but was banned by executive order 13. DJ/Band? Both, the band played the first song then did a 45 min set, the DJ did some music while the evening buffet came out then the band came back for a 1 hour set and the DJ finished off the night. 14. First song? Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. 16. Your Gift List would include...? We asked for Thomas Cook vouchers to help pay towards the honeymoon, although wording wasn't that outright, more like we didn't have anything specific we wanted but if you're stuck for something to get then vouchers would be great. 17. Any added extras at reception(fireworks etc)? We had an exploding confetti balloon that went off at the end of the First Dance, fireworks would probably have been cool, but I imagine getting everyone out to watch them might have been a bit like herding cats, and I imagine a really good show is expensive. 18. Cakey cake (fruity/sponge/chocolate/decorations)? Fruit cake base, Sponge cake 2nd tier, chocolate sponge 3rd tier and the top of the castle was solid regal icing 19. Honeymoon... where to?! 4 weeks travelling round Australia, the wedding was in August but we delayed the honeymoon until November for the better weather, absolutely the best holiday ever.

This is provided I can find any bugger to marry me!
1. Big Wedding/Small wedding!? Kind of in the middle, I dont have hundreds and hundreds of friends, so would rather have everybody who came along mean something to me, rather than invite people for the sake of it. 2. Where/how would you be wed? Church/civil etc? Go check out this place, its simply stunning when the sun is out, flipping expensive im sure, but lovely http://www.bbc.co.uk/bristol/content...allery.shtml?1 3. Why the above? Cos its bleeding gorgeous! 4. Traditional Wedding March Choon when walking the aisle? I'd like to walk down to the middle piano bit from Desirees "Kissing you" the bit that kicks in on 2min 56 until the end, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jt-NwAA3Wvo I want someone actually there playing it though 5. What transport would you have?! Pink limo's all round!!! 6. Reception Venue... your ideal location? Marquee at the place I showed you above, its massive, so we'd all just move somewhere else for the fun and games! 7. What kind of fud? I dont really want a formal sit down type meal, so I was thinking the wedding would be late afternoon, and then we would just have like an evening buffet type thing 8. Decorations/themes/colours? Pink! Oh and something in homage to Bristol City (sorry BB! Dont kill me! ) 9. Dress code? Whatever the chuff people want to wear 10. For Ladies: Your traditional dress or something more funky? I loved the dress whatshername wore in American Pie, so it would be something like this http://www.cinema.com/image_lib/7484_pie003.jpg 11. Bridesmaid style dresses? Baby pink, other than that im not sure 12. Groom attire? Ive always had a thing about men in cream suits (please dont laugh) so i'd quite like it if they had something along those lines on. 13. DJ/Band? Havent a clue but I did see this bloke recently, and im fairly certain he would be a giggle when everyones had a few drinks http://www.stevejamesshow.biz/ 14. First song? Break up by Robbie Williams, just to see everyones faces! Cant answer that in all seriousness because it would have to be a song that meant something to both of us. 15. Flowers? Not too many but following the pink theme again methinks. 16. Your Gift List would include...? Lots of yummy stuff for meeeeeeeeeeee! 17. Any added extras at reception(fireworks etc)? I'd like some silly type of thing going on in the corner, like a magician or a bouncy castle, which I would obviously have first dibs on 18. Cakey cake (fruity/sponge/chocolate/decorations)? I havent decided on the actual cake but it would be one from here http://www.choccywoccydoodah.com/ 19. Honeymoon... where to?! Turtle Island! One day i'll go there http://www.turtlefiji.com/ 20. Other stuff! Anyone wanna marry me so I can do all this? |

As long as there was a stag do and free bar at the party afterwards I would be happy.
Let the girl choose the hard stuff.

Whomever I marry can have what she wants, but I'm arriving and leaving in a DeLorean.
Though I wouldn't be adverse to the first dance being The Rockerfeller Skank, if allowed.
