Me & Leon had steak on Friday. They were of Morrisons' Best Scottish rump steaks and cost £4.30 for 2 nicely-sized pieces. It was SO unbelievably tender, one of the most tender steaks I've ever had. I was seriously impressed and will be buying it again in future!! We both have ours rare, simply seasoned on each side and cooked on a cast iron grill pan with a little basting in butter to finish off

I had some yesterday, rib eye in fresh French bread with a little English mustard. Cooked rare in the griddle pan, but not too rare. People make the mistake of undercooking steak in my opinion and it stays tough and has little flavour imparted to it from the cooking.

There are some cuts of steak that rare is necessary, fillets, sirloin and good bits of rump can get away with blue though. Entrecote does need a bit more IMO.
