I remember in middle school, we had to write about something that had made us sad.
I wrote about our first dog that had bitten a neighbour and had been taken away. I wrote 'Mum took him to the vets and came back without him. I don't know what happened to him.' My delightfully sympathetic teacher wrote 'Can't you guess??' Unfortunately as I teach accountancy to adults, I think the scope for amusing answers is limited
