Shouldn't really affect me, but Mrs Dym works down at Bank :/
She can't even work from home as the broadband isn't activated until Thursday Of course there's meant to be an 0845 number to use with emergency dial up on O2 broadband but I can't find it anywhere... If anyone is on O2 and knows what that number is then it'd certainly be handy...

I dont understand these types of protests, these are the hypocrites that went to shop at supermarkets rather than their local shops and buy from conglomerates. A case of not in my back yard brigade.

I got paid 12 pound an hour to sit on the Reception desk of E D and F Mann the commodity brokers one year during the May Day Protests about 9 years ago. Spent most of the day sat up on the roof with 2 security guards and binoculars watching the rent-a-mob twits.

This is probably going to sound really lame, but I hope anyone who has to work/be in that area this week stays safe.

Thanks. My girlfriend was actually quite worried but I think it will be ok. I'm going to brave the crowds on my bike and stick it in our IT crowd stylee underground hideout. |

Bwahahaha!
Supposedly Westminster's CCTV isn't good enough to be used to police the protests so is going to be shut down for the next few days... *smug*

These protestors are such hypocrites it's laughable. Bunch of pricks.
A friend of mine used to work in the stock exchange at the last rallye they had I think he broke into the office, and from the balcony they were dropping £1 coins and pouring champagne at the protestors in the forecourt - that REALLY riled them up I bet it was hilarous. Naughty, but funny.
