All the advice has been taken on board.
Names have been written down Currently munching ibuprofen, however my 'Hellboy' hand is still present... The makers of nurofen seem to have been watching The Matrix, shame they got the colour wrong

Have you had any piriton or similar medication? if not might be worth having some as it should bring swelling down a bit, well hopefully!!

Looks nasty. I have a similar problem with gnat bites They swell to ridiculous sizes with me and take ages to heal, even caused some scarring on my leg.
Hope it gets better soon!

Unbelieveable. At 3pm yesterday I was gorge scrambling in the Brecon Beacons on a stag do. As I climbed over the fence to leave for the day I felt a sharp pain on the inside of my right ring finger. I thought I'd nicked it on something on the fence at first because it was actually bleeding, but within minutes I had One Big Hand® so I knew it was a sting - probably a wasp.
After a hayfever tablet the swelling went down, and by the time I was out on the beers again it was right as rain. I highly recommend an antihistamine if you have any. Groovy conincidence though.

Looks like you're mildly allergic - poor bugger. The swelling tends to be more painful than the sting I find. I advise never to get stung by a hornet, cricket ball sized lump ensues - deadly ****ers.
