Daytime TV - Great
(not) Hope you get well soon matey.. I know what it's like being off with back pain. Fortunately, I've not had my back go for nearly 8 years.. Now why did I have to go and say that!

You have my sympathy Feek, I've been signed off for 2 weeks with back problems twice in the past 3 years, it's not nice at all. The pain the first time was so bad I was nearly in tears, I wouldn't wish that amount of pain on anyone (except one or two people perhaps). Hopefully some rest will sort you out

It's degrading when you can only get around comfortably on your hands and knees. Sound familiar?

With me I could walk, but only hunched over as it was virtually impossible to straighten my back for more than a few seconds at a time. I remember going to view the house we now live in before we bought it, and I had to let Lynne look at the upstairs on her own as I couldn't physically get up the stairs. Never want to feel that much pain ever again, I'd rather break my leg than go through that once more.

My back still hurts and I'm due back to work on Tuesday. I'm going to go for a short drive tomorrow and see how it feels (I was advised to rest it and not drive) but I have a nasty feeling I'm going back to the doctors tomorrow as I was signed off for a week.
I hate this, I really do.

When I did my neck (baaaaaad whiplash from someone rear ending my car thus writing it off... grumpy grumpy GRUMPY pheebs) I was off for weeks. Really was completely gutted and so so bored... couldn't do anything fun so I'm feeling your pain
Big lubbles and hoping a miraculous recovery soon! If not - don't go pushing yourself to try and make it better it may only make things worse. xx |

I've now got the 30/500 co-codamol which I think are the strongest ones and I've been signed off for another week *sigh*
